  • Navint/Globant
  • Continuous

Sean Joyce founded Decalibron to bring a builder and implementer perspective to commercial technology decisions. That experience includes roles at Salesforce, Zuora, Apttus/Conga, Navint/Globant, and Continuous.

It spans developing commercial software, leading product and technology organizations, and implementing multiple quote-to-cash platforms together in enterprise environments.

Building these products shows where they are strong and where they are stretched. Implementing them side by side shows where their capabilities overlap, how they integrate, and what it takes to make them work as one commercial system.

Areas of experience

  • Salesforce Revenue Cloud and the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Enterprise quote-to-cash implementations
  • Commercial software product strategy
  • Salesforce and NetSuite architecture
  • Subscription, usage-based, and consumption monetization
Experience

Why that experience matters to you

Vendors and implementation partners know their own products deeply. Experience building and implementing several of these platforms helps you see across them first: what your existing systems can already do, where the real gaps are, and which architectural options are worth exploring.

What that means for your decision

  • Platform strengths and limitationsWhere each platform performs well, and where it is stretched.
  • Overlapping capabilitiesWhere CRM, CPQ, billing, and ERP cover the same ground, and which should own what.
  • Integration and interoperabilityHow quotes, contracts, orders, usage, and invoices move between systems.
  • Architectural tradeoffsThe cost, risk, and flexibility of each viable approach.
  • Extending what you ownWhere existing investments can be extended rather than replaced unnecessarily.
Why Decalibron

Why Decalibron exists

Many organizations start evaluating CPQ, billing, or monetization software before they have agreed on the business objective, understood what their existing systems can already do, or compared the architectural alternatives.

That is when expensive decisions go wrong. Decalibron helps customers establish that foundation first, so they can choose well and work more effectively with the vendors and implementation partners they select.

Independence

Independence, as a customer benefit

Recommendations are based on your requirements, constraints, and existing investments, not on a preferred software product or implementation practice.

Vendors and implementation partners remain essential to a successful outcome. Customers who arrive informed get more from them: clearer requirements, better-scoped projects, and fewer surprises.

Decalibron is independent and is not affiliated with Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, Conga, or any other software vendor or implementation firm named on this site. Product names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Start with why. Carry it through.

Agree on the business objective and the decision criteria before choosing technology. Then keep that reasoning intact through architecture, vendor selection, and implementation.
